We didn't really do too much for Valentine's Day, but I took a few cute pics that I wanted to share. We decorated these sugar cookies with Scott's boss and her family at our house about a week before Valentine's and they turned out so cute! They were delicious too!
Right on Valentine's Day Scott and I had to work, so Grandma and Grandpa had the girls and made them a special breakfast before school, which was so sweet! We also all got some new sweats/hoodies that are pink and red from the Lego line at Target. I didn't get any pics, but we're hoping to go to Legoland this Christmas so I'm sure we'll wear them there. Happy Love Day!

Valentine's Day Cookies, 2/1/19
Wednesday, February 6, 2019
Valentine's Day is a good day around here. Around February 14th every year is when we finally start to get back to an almost normal amount of daylight (around 8 hours). The sun is now rising a little earlier and setting a little later each day. 😊
Last week we made some Valentine sugar cookies. The cookie part I made from a mix so they didn't hold their shape nearly as well as the recipe I normally use, but they still turned out pretty cute. I made my usual royal icing to decorate them, and the girls had a lot of fun. We decorated them in the evening, and then I took these pictures the next day. Ruby was at school and Robyn was napping so it was just me and Noelle. I let Noelle decorate them even more with the edible markers, and she loved it. Happy 💗 Day!
